Can the disease spread through products or packaging sourced and shipped internationally or domestically?

According to the CDC, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with shipped or imported or goods. There have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods. Paw sky is following CDC guidance. How can I protect myself from contracting COVID-19?

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Put distance between yourself and others if COVID-19 is spreading in your community, especially if you are at higher risk of getting very sick.

  • Stay home if you are sick and maintain appropriate social distance when and wherever possible.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

  • Individuals with chronic health issues and/or individuals experiencing severe symptoms should be evaluated by a medical professional.
